Reservation Policies

- Reservations are confirmed with a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 1/2 of the base rate for the entire reserved time, Visa/MC, gift certificates, cash (or checks if 2 months in advance).

- Confirmed balance is due at check-in, Visa/MC or cash. Please note, we do not accept checks at check-in!

- Check-in is from 3:00PM (CT) to 11:59PM (CT). No show's by 11:59PM (CT) on their check-in date shall forfeit the remainder of their reservation.

- Check-out is by 11:00AM (CT).

- We accomodate a maximum of 8 confirmed guests, day and night (see rates for additional occupancy beyond the first 4 guests).

Guest Conduct Policies

- All adult guests will conduct themselves in a responsible manner while staying at the Cottage and using the grounds & property at Pine Ridge, including the direct and appropriate supervision of all minors in their party. 

- Guests should enjoy their stay with the understanding that others will follow them, often, within a few hours after their departure.  Outside of normal and customary use of the Cottage, pool, lake, grounds & property,  guests will not create a need for extraordinary  clean-up after their visit (examples include things like confetti, foam or foam-derived streamers, chalk writing on the pavement or any surface).   Please discuss any need for clarification on this matter with the owners.  

- No smoking, except outdoors with ashtrays. 

- No pets.

- Outdoor noise (music, etc.) will be kept to a level which will not overwhelm the sounds of nature.

- Pine Ridge is a very private retreat. Our invitation to enjoy the property is reserved exclusively for confirmed guests at the Cottage. We cannot accomodate outside visitors beyond our confirmed guests.

- Guests at the Cottage are invited to enjoy the pool and lake areas on a self-serve basis (with instructions) and at their own risk. These areas are not available at night, nor at the threat of inclement weather.



Note: those who wish to reserve the Cottage will be asked to accept our policies before securing their reservation. We reserve the right to allow exceptions to our policies.
