Built by the Pabst brewing family, this one and only lakefront Cottage is available for short-term stays. One-half mile off the main road, the Cottage is surrounded by 18 acres of lush forest. With frontage on a small, private lake and a lovely inground pool in the woods, guests enjoy peace and privacy at this secluded retreat. 

The owners of Pine Ridge, Mary and Russ Butler, live in a separate home on the property*. Those with confirmed reservations in the Cottage can relax in the luxury and privacy of being our only guests!  They are invited to enjoy, exclusively, the pool &  poolhouse in the woods and boats & pier on the private lake.  Please see "Cottage Amenities"  &  "Policies/Reservations" for more information.

In addition to the beautiful grounds, guests who are quiet and watchful often take pleasure in being "at one with nature" in the forest. Although not guaranteed, it's not uncommon to see deer, woodchuck, red fox, wild turkey, owls, humming birds, cranes, geese, ducks including wood ducks in the trees, hawks, muskrat, turtles and other smaller animals and plants in their natural environment.
